Lightboxes are a type of sign that consists of a metal box that houses electrical components and fluorescent lamps. A plastic face is then held in place over the outward facing side of the metal box by metal tracks or retainers. This plastic face is easily removed and replaced and can have a variety of cut vinyl graphics or full color digital prints applied to it. The light from the lamps pass through the face and the graphics at night. They are used typically in strip malls and business plazas.
